Drop Zone is coming to Kearney, NE, and we are hiring Bay Hosts and Servers to deliver an awesome guest experience throughout our venue. This role is ideal for high-energy, people-friendly individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and supporting guests with food, drinks, and bay service from start to finish.

Position Overview

ABOUT THE BAY HOST / SERVER ROLE

As a Bay Host / Server at Drop Zone, you will deliver an awesome guest experience in our bays and throughout the venue. This role is ideal for high-energy, people-friendly individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take care of guests from start to finish, including food, drinks, service, and overall experience.

Core Responsibilities

GUEST WELCOME & ORIENTATION

Greet and welcome guests to their bays, help them get settled, and provide a friendly, engaging first impression throughout their visit.

FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE

Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently while ensuring timely, attentive service from start to finish.

BAY SETUP & TECH SUPPORT

Assist guests with bay setup and provide basic instruction on using bay technology and games to ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience.

CLEANLINESS & RESET

Maintain cleanliness and organization of bay areas, including clearing tables and resetting spaces between groups during service.

ISSUE RESOLUTION

Monitor guest needs, respond quickly to requests, address questions or concerns professionally, and escalate issues to a manager when needed.

TEAMWORK & SAFETY

Work closely with kitchen, bar, and event staff to deliver smooth service while following all health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.

Candidate Requirements

What We're Looking For:

CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE

Previous customer service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable interacting with guests and delivering friendly, attentive service.

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY

This is a part-time, in-person role. Availability is required for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with shifts scheduled as needed based on business demand.

AGE & LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be at least 19 years old to serve alcohol in accordance with Nebraska state requirements.

WORK STYLE & MULTITASKING

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and stay organised in a fast-paced, high-volume environment are essential.

Comfortable assisting guests with basic bay technology and game setup when needed.

SERVICE URGENCY

Maintains a strong sense of urgency while delivering timely, attentive service during busy periods.
